These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the website at [website URL] (the "Platform"). By browsing the Platform, you agree to the parts of these Terms that apply to visitors. By creating an account, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data. It is a separate document, and you should read it alongside these Terms.

Arventis is a recruitment and staffing agency. Through the Platform:

• visitors can browse and search published job opportunities;
• registered candidates can create a profile, upload a CV, apply for opportunities, and receive job alert emails.

Opportunities may be for employee, contractor, or freelance roles, as stated in each posting. We publish opportunities on behalf of our client companies. We do not disclose client identities on the public job board.

Using the Platform as a candidate is free of charge.

To create an account, you must:

• be at least [16 / 18] years old;
• provide accurate and truthful information;
• create the account for yourself, not on behalf of another person;
• have only one account.

• Security. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at [support@domain] if you suspect unauthorised use.
• Accurate information. Keep your email address, profile, and CV accurate and up to date. You can edit them at any time in your account area.
• Changing your login details. You can change your email address and password in your account settings. You will need your current password to do so. Make sure your new email address is correct: we will send all account and alert emails to it.

• When you apply, we record your application and review it against the role's requirements.
• We do not guarantee that you will be contacted, interviewed, shortlisted, or hired, or that any opportunity will result in an engagement.
• Hiring decisions are made by Arventis and/or the client company. We are not required to give reasons for a decision.
• Opportunities may change or close at any time, including after you have applied, for example if the role is filled or withdrawn.
• If your application progresses, the terms of any resulting engagement will be set out in a separate contract. This may be an employment contract, a contractor agreement, or a freelance agreement. These Terms do not create an employment, agency, or contractor relationship between you and Arventis or any client.
• You can see the status of your applications in your account area.

• You keep ownership of your CV and any other content you submit ("Your Content").
• You allow Arventis to store, copy, and use Your Content, and to share it with client companies, for the purpose of recruitment and placement, as described in our Privacy Policy. This permission ends when your data is deleted, except where our Privacy Policy states that limited data is kept.
• You confirm that Your Content:
  • is accurate and not misleading, including your qualifications, experience, and certifications;
  • belongs to you, or you have the right to submit it;
  • does not contain unlawful, offensive, or discriminatory material, or anyone else's personal data without their permission;
  • does not contain viruses or harmful code.
• We may remove content that breaches these Terms.

• If you opt in, we will email you when new opportunities are published. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any alert email, or through your account settings.
• Even if you are not subscribed to alerts, we will send you service emails needed to run your account, such as registration confirmation, password reset, and confirmation of account deletion.

When using the Platform, you must not:

• provide false information or impersonate another person;
• create multiple accounts, or accounts for other people;
• scrape, harvest, copy, or republish job postings or other content by automated means, or for commercial purposes, without our written permission;
• try to identify, contact, or approach client companies behind anonymised postings in order to bypass Arventis;
• interfere with the Platform's security or operation, including by uploading malware, probing for vulnerabilities, or overloading the Platform;
• try to access other users' accounts or data, or any part of the Platform you are not authorised to use;
• use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose.

The Platform, including its design, text, job postings, logos, and software, belongs to Arventis or its licensors, and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and use it for your personal job search only. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reuse it for any other purpose without our written permission.

• Closing your account. You can request deletion of your account at any time, using "Request account deletion" in your account area. We will process your request as described in our Privacy Policy and confirm by email when it is done.
• Our right to suspend or close accounts. We may suspend or close your account if:
  • you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms;
  • you provide false information;
  • we are required to do so by law;
  • your use puts the Platform or other users at risk.
  Where reasonable, we will tell you the reason and give you a chance to respond.
• Service changes. We may change, suspend, or discontinue the Platform, or any part of it. If we close the Platform permanently, we will give registered users reasonable notice where possible.

• We aim to keep the Platform available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
• Job postings describe opportunities in good faith, based on information from our clients. Details such as rates, dates, and requirements may change. The terms of any engagement are those set out in the contract you actually sign.

• We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill.
• We are not responsible for:
  • the decisions or conduct of client companies;
  • loss of opportunity or income resulting from a job application not succeeding;
  • losses caused by your own breach of these Terms, or by your failure to keep your login details secure;
  • interruptions or events beyond our reasonable control.
• Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes to the Platform or to the law. The "Last updated" date shows the current version. If we make significant changes, we will notify registered users by email or through a notice on the Platform at least [30] days before the changes take effect. If you do not agree to the changes, you can close your account before they take effect.

• These Terms are governed by the laws of [country].
• If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.
